Memorial Day...May 30, 2010

What a great day!!! It was so beautiful and Chris and I got to enjoy so much of it, thankfully. The day started out with an amazing breakfast and then we went and hiked Stewart Falls. Not gonna lie, there were so many people doing the same thing that it was almost not worth it. But we made it to the top! Then Chris made a super great lunch and we just chilled for a while. Then we decided it would be kinda fun to ride our bikes to Utah Lake and back. It was so much fun and I didn't even reck my bike this time. So many adventures in one short day...LOVE IT!!!! The best part was that I got to do it all with my best friend! :)

The trials of life....

Wow!!! Sometimes I wonder if trials will ever cease?! Even though they are a bit difficult to endure sometimes, I know we get them for a reason. I have experienced a few during mine and Chris' engagement time and wonder for a bit but then look at how much closer we get through each of those trials and experiences. No matter the negative things that are said or done-both intential or not, with a positive outlook and an eternal perspective I can overcome!!!! And I will. I thinks it's part of that competitive edge I can't seem to rid myself of :) All I want to do is live a life worthy of the blessings that I receive daily, do the best I can in all I do, and love my family with all my heart.

The Amazing Adventures of Registering!

So Chris and I discovered what an adventure it is to register for our wedding. It's such a great concept but so time consuming! Honestly though, it really wasn't that bad. Everything was smooth sailing...as long as Chris got control of the scanner... ;) (I love you Chris!) It was a lot of fun planning and deciding on what to do to make our house a home and have a wonderful family! As fun as it is to go and look at the latest and greatest gadgets, it doesn't compare to the life I get to spend with Chris now and forever!!!

Life is always changing...

So this whole being engaged things is fabulous!! So fabulous that we decided to shorten it a bit. That's right...we moved our date up...JUNE 19, 2010!!! People do it all the time right?! It keeps everyone on their toes and keeps things exciting! It's going to be wonderful!!!!

A few little details...

For all inquiring minds...here are some of the details about the boy and our wedding!
His name is Chris Bogenschutz and he was born and raised in South Jordan, UT. He is currently studying business (I believe) and hopes to be an HR director...basically the one who hires and fires people...someone has to do it, right?! :) He is tall, dark, and handsome and treats me like a queen! We are getting married on July 31, 2010 in the Boise, ID temple for time and all eternity!!! I couldn't be more happy!
We are both just workin like crazy waiting and wishing for July to get here a little sooner. I'm currently on an adventure trying to figure out how to balance life and all its goodness...and stresses. Life wouldn't be life without a few speed bumps along the way.
I have found that life is what you make it! We will all experiences ups and downs, great times and not so great of times, happiness and bliss, and a little sadness and fear...but through it all relationships grow stronger!!! Push through and love eachother to the end!!! Sometimes easier said than done but it's so true. But everything good thing in this life you have to work for and relationships are no exception! I'm just glad that Chris is apart of my life and is willing to stick with me no matter what...and I can be a crazy one to stick to :) What a blessing he is in my life!!!!
