We decided to take some family pictures to help document the journey. Here we are just shy of 34 weeks...6 more to go and we will be a happy little family of 3 :)

Chris was a trooper...he doesn't like getting his picture taken. But he did want to flaunt his new hair style so he was up for a couple of pics!
This picture was taken for my side of the family...name possibilities...they really are endless and outrageous!

We {heart} our new little addition!!!!!!!! Can't wait for him to join the family on the outside :)

10 weeks and counting!!!

A much needed update...here is 6 weeks in review! I'm already at 30 weeks...only 10 left!!!!! YAY!!!!
I'm really starting to miss certain things that a not-so-little-baby-bump kinda gets in the way of...like running,  a flat tummy, getting out of bed or a car without having to be pushed out, sleeping on my stomach (pretty sure I have mentioned that one many many times...it's probably the thing I miss most), hugs-I feel like I have to stick my back side out so I don't squish our lil' guy, eat big meals-there's just no room for anything to expand inside anymore.
So have fun looking at the progress...it's still kinda weird to look at pictures of myself or walk by a mirror and see myself pregnant...

I tell Chris all the time how I feel so huge and all he responds with is...yeah, you are getting bigger...but that's just pregnancy :) I did fail my first glucose test so I had to do a 3-hour test and get poked 4 times during that 3 hours. I came out with a few bruises, sore veins, a hungry tummy (I had to be fasting for 12 hours prior to the test and then stay fasting during the 3 hours...luckily I could have water!) but I don't have gestational diabetes-YAY! But the doctor says I still need to watch my sugar intake because one blood draw came back a little high. I'm just glad that we don't have many sugar options to eat at our house.
My favorite thing about pregnancy right now if being able to feel our lil' guy move all over the place. We play a little game every once in a while were I will poke a spot on my belly and he will kick/punch at it...that usually lasts for about 5 minutes and then I think he gets bored. If I ever start dancing to music and then stop he starts moving like he just took the dance floor....it's so fun! We just can't wait til he is in our home. What adventures are ahead of us!!!!
