Discovering Fingers

Lincoln is starting to discover his fingers. He really likes to play with his toys so we rigged a contraption to hang them in the crib...

 He also has decided that his fingers are much better than his pacifier.

 And his is such a happy baby! We sure love him lots!!!

Stewart Falls

We decided to start training Lincoln early to love the outdoors. So for his first adventure we hiked up to Stewart Falls. He did so good too. He was asleep for most of the way to the falls but he was wide awake all the way down. He didn't get fussy at all...yay!!! I think it was all the new things to see and the different sounds. It was so nice to get out and do something active together. And it was so fun to see the leaves change...I love fall!!!  

Poor kid...we were hiking during his morning nap time...at least he still took a nap! :)

September..so far

Lincoln loves to listen to his dad tell stories, read books, and sing to him. Chris was singing along with the song "Love Without End" by George Strait and Lincoln just kept smiling every time the chorus was sung...it was so cute!!!

 This is kind of a big deal...at least for me. We moved Lincoln into his own room! I thought it was going to be so hard but it has been awesome! He sleeps really well in his crib and we don't wake up to all his funny little noises. It's actually kind of nice :)

 These next few pictures show Lincoln's new interest...his fist. When he looses his pacifier, his fist finds it's way into his mouth. Sometimes it is so funny to watch because it looks like he is either eating it up or he is trying to fit his fist right inside his mouth...here's the process...

1) fist finds mouth

 2) insert fist in mouth....all the way! 

But wait...it doesn't.quite.fit.

 3) oh well, i will just suck on my fist

 4) it makes me happy!
