Faith....

Lincoln has been sick this last week and his poor little body sure looks it. It started off with croup beginning Friday and got pretty bad in the middle of the night. Croup is scary and I don't like it. We got him some medication and spent time in the cold to help his lungs. Now it has evolved into a nasty cold...snotty nose, cough and lots of cuddle time. It's been hard to keep him away from Peyton so she doesn't get sick because he loves to love her so much!!! He stands in our bedroom doorway and says hi baby about 10 times a day. Well, tonight we decided Chris should give him a blessing. The blessing was so sweet. Chris talked to Lincoln about it before hand and told him about the consecrated oil, where it goes and the blessing that will come after. I held him on my lap and he folded his arms and closed his eyes. It was a precious moment and one I will cherish. One thing that was in the blessing that stuck out to me was that we know Lincoln has the faith to be healed and that blessings work on faith. These little ones know more than we think they do. It is truly amazing that Lincoln can and does have faith and has the ability to exercise it though he is only two and a half. He is a special little boy with a lot ahead of him. I'm so grateful that my little family is blessed to have a worthy preisthood holder in our home. That power is an amazing thing and it has blessed my life and our families life in so many ways. How grateful I am to have the gospel in my life!!
I just want Lincoln to know that I love him and I know this gospel is true!

Peyton's Newborn photos...just a bit late

Super photo overload!!! She's was just too cute and the photos just came so easily. Thanks Taneya for taking these!!

Peyton is 1 month old!!!

It's hard to believe that 7 weeks can go by so quickly when you aren't miserably pregnant. I wish pregnancy would go faster and this newborn/baby stage would last longer. I love this little girl and she has all of us wrapped around her little finger. Lincoln loves her to pieces and tries to be so helpful. She is such a wonderful baby and I'm so grateful she is ours!
