Gearing up for winter

It has gotten COLD here in Utah. I almost thought I was back in Rexburg the other day...brrrr!!! So times call for the winter gear. I saw this hat and just had to get it for Lincoln. He's so cute in it and he really does like it. He just has a hard time showing emotion...must be a boy things ;)

Halloween 2012

We had lots of fun carving pumpkins this year. Lincoln even got a little taste of pumpkin painting, except on a squash. We couldn't find a baby pumpkin so we substituted :)

I think our little pumpkin/squash family turned out so good!!!!

LeAvEs!!!!!!!

All the leaves are pretty much off the trees and on the ground now. I took Lincoln outside for some fresh air and we decided to play in the leaves for a little bit. It was so much fun watching him try and figure out what in the world the gold, crunchy things were.

Lincoln even rolled over and I captured it all...how lucky is that?!

Fall time fun...

We went to the park to take advantage of the nice weather. Lincoln loved it! He enjoys being outside so much...YAY!! We thought he would start crying and make a scene when we laid him in the bark but he didn't. We even got some emotion captured on film!! (that doesn't happen too often from this little guy-he doesn't like his picture taken)

 We did a little Halloween photo shoot in Lincoln's costume. He didn't mind being in the costume until the end and then he was really done! He makes such a cute monkey!!!!

Discovering Fingers

Lincoln is starting to discover his fingers. He really likes to play with his toys so we rigged a contraption to hang them in the crib...

 He also has decided that his fingers are much better than his pacifier.

 And his is such a happy baby! We sure love him lots!!!

Stewart Falls

We decided to start training Lincoln early to love the outdoors. So for his first adventure we hiked up to Stewart Falls. He did so good too. He was asleep for most of the way to the falls but he was wide awake all the way down. He didn't get fussy at all...yay!!! I think it was all the new things to see and the different sounds. It was so nice to get out and do something active together. And it was so fun to see the leaves change...I love fall!!!  

Poor kid...we were hiking during his morning nap time...at least he still took a nap! :)
