I'm not very good at keeping track of baby updates this time. Chalk it up to having a busy toddler, a wonderful husband, and work...among everything else. But here we sit a just shy of 20 weeks! Crazy! The last few weeks have flown by, which is kinda nice. Lately I have really started to feel this baby wiggle. The first movements...when you feel like a little goldfish is moving around....have turned into a pinball tournament. This baby moves LOTS!!! The other night we were watching a movie and all of a sudden it felt like the baby jumped and just sat. You could totally feel its teeny tiny little body right against my lower abdomen so I made Chris feel it. His reaction to feeling the baby the first time is priceless. It's always grand amazement followed by lots of questions about what it feels like being pregnant. I love it! There is a lot of reassurance that comes when you start feeling those little movements and I love it! This is real!
Overall, things are so much better now! The only time I experience any nausea is when the baby decides its time for gymnastics and gets crazy squirmy. But that doesn't happen too terribly often. I still feel like I never get enough sleep but that won't change any time soon...that darn growing belly sure gets in the way. I have lots more energy now, which is very necessary in order to keep up with Lincoln! This is what I remember pregnancy being like last time. It's so much nicer going through pregnancy feeling good!!!
What's coming up next....well...we decided to have fun finding out the gender of this little one so we get to wait one extra day and find out with some family and friends at our gender reveal party next week. It won't be anything huge and fancy but it will be so fun to experience it with all of them! We will get some updated belly pictures then and document the cute cake and decor.
